About Us
The South Alabama Radio Club VE Team offers testing for all license classes at 6:30 PM or immediately
following our monthly business meeting. Our meetings are held at 6:00 PM on the third Thursday of each
month. Please click on the Club Calendar link above to see when the next meeting will be held.
Depending on how long the meeting lasts, the test session could start sooner. Most meetings last between
20 and 30 minutes. You are most welcome to join us at the meeting, which starts at 6:00 PM. The meeting
and exam is held in the Andalusia Public Library Dixon Meeting Room, located at 117 Dunson Street in
Andalusia, AL. Here’s a map link to the location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/vcTGCbX6FFmLnssSA
Note: Wheelchair access is available through the front door.
License & Testing Information
All members of the SARC VE Team are ARRL accredited. Test results are filed electronically directly to
the ARRL VEC. Most callsigns are issued within a few days and some as soon as the next day.
Thank you for your interest in learning more about this great hobby and we hope to help you achieve
your goal of obtaining your amateur radio license! Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have
any further questions. You can email KI4RWL-Bob or KG4CNA-Allen.
